Almost all of these top of the range gadgets today feature bigger screens that are a delight to use but also are a nightmare to keep clean and scratch free. No matter how careful you are it is always best to stay protected. When you buy a gadget you love such as the Apple iPad tablet you should of course be sure to protect it. You are most certainly going to need some sort of protection, a protective sleeve or carrying case. As soon as Apple first announced the coming of the iPad ,a lot of accessory makers quickly advertised their products within hours of the launch. The reinforced screen cover has a secure flap to ensure your iPad is safe when loaded into the pouch and of course it also will ensure that your screen is protected from any damage. Available in an array of colors to suit anyone's taste, it is both stylish and sleek with no need to sacrifice style for full protection either.

should I buy the iPad 2? and what size storage?
When the iPad 2 came out earlier this year, I was excited. I watched reviews, video demonstrations, and even tried using one at a pop culture convention. My goal this summer was to save up money to buy an iPad with a Smart Cover.
However, now that I’ve gotten enough money to buy the iPad, I’m wondering if I should just save the money instead. I have an iPod Touch, and while I love this dearly, I think the iPad would be a lot better and easier to type on and read (I know there are Kindles for this, but I like that the iPad is in colour and can do much more.) I would probably use it for entertainment and getting on the internet and showing pictures on the go.
I was looking at buying the $499, 16 GB one, but I heard that the 32 GB would be a lot better for storage for the ways I’m going to use it.What do you recommend?
I’m not looking for the iPad as a replacement laptop or anything – my laptop is about seven months old..
Thanks!
16Gb is not enough. :/
Netbook vs. the new iPad 2?
Hi there. I’m a huge Apple fan, but I have some friends who have said that getting a netbook would be a much greater choice then spending near 600$ on an iPad (with accessories).
Currently I’m aware of there being netbooks priced from $200 to $400. The problem is weather or not it would be genuinely better… Meaning, is it possible to get a netbook that is small in size, has an HD screen, camera for facetime video chat, and then a dual core processor… my current desktop runs a quad core, meaning dual core is utmost important, camera I could live without… but then is the netbook going to be outdated in a year, am I going to have to buy more ram, can you build up the system (with more ram ect)?
The overall question is should I spend the money on a netbook and save 100 to 200 dollars, or get the amazing iPad two (to be completely honest this is an opinion topic, so if you could argue your opinion…. personally I’m leaning towards the iPad… that smart cover is legit! xD
Edit: I should also mention that the 10 Hour battery life of the iPad is extensively important! Four hours isn’t all that long and I will need use of this device (whether it be the iPad or a Netbook) for at least 10 hours a day. Most netbooks I’ve seen have a four hour battery life! Pathetic!
Apple iPad 2 boasts of being faster, lighter and thinner than the original iPad. It is armed with two cameras – one at front and the other one at rear. The presence of a front camera does hint at video calling facility which is yet another reason why you need to look forward to buy this device. The new iPad sports a LED-backlit glossy widescreen Multi-Touch display with IPS technology and fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating like the one used in iPhone 4. Even though there were some rumors about Apple iPad 2 screen being cut down to 7 inches, the company seems to have preferred to stick to 9.7 inch screen.
Desperate need of iPad 2 help!?
I have a speck smart shell (clear) and apple smart cover- love the case and all it’s features, but when I tried my camera connection kit it didn’t fit. Neither did my video mirroring cable, does anyone else have this problem? Any input would be appreciated, thanks.
Should I get a new iPad 2 or go with a pre-owned iPad 1 from Apple?
I’m looking into getting an iPad for myself. I just want it to be able to watch videos, surf the internet, and play games that get annoying after using the small screen on my iPhone (like Words with Friends, Scrabble, and so on…) I would also need to eventually use Pages and Keynotes for my Senior year and possibly in college.
I don’t need it for iBooks, and I really don’t need FaceTime because nobody I know has a Mac/iPhone 4. Photobooth would be fun to have, but I don’t really need it.
Should I buy a pre-owned iPad 1 from Apple that is retailed at $349 or keep saving up for the $499 iPad 2. I would love to have the iPad in white with a pink Smart cover, but I don’t know if it’s worth an extra $150.
For what you described that you need to be able to do, save your dollars and go for the pre-owned iPad. My company owns both devices. I have my assistant the iPad 2 and I continue to use my “old shoe” first-gen iPad. It does all I need it to do, much of which you described in your question as your needs. Best wishes either way!
Help with iPad 2 backup/recovery?
Well, I was trying to make a video with my iPad 2. I needed to pick up my iPad 2 so i picked it up by the smart cover and dropped on concrete. (I had pictures on my iPad 2 that were on my iPod Touch. I deleted those pics after they were uploaded to a Windows 7 computer. Then my computer got reset and the pictures got stuck on my iPad 2. BTW, the pics were in different albums. e.g it wasnt in the “Camera Roll” album.) So today I went to an apple store and showed them the accident. They gave me a brand new iPad 2 for free. When I got home and synced everything, I got all my apps and songs and books but not photos. I only got 168 out of my 512
LONG STORY SHORT. I dropped my iPad, got a new one, and my photos got deleted except for 168/512.
Is there ANY possible way WITHOUT JAILBREAKING to get my pictures back? Even the pictures from different albums?
I got my apps amd songs and everything else back because of the setting “store” on my ipad. it wirelessly transfers new songs, apps, and books to my device. part if the icloud feature
if you absolutely have no idea what to do,then maybe u can use the “iPad to Computer Transfer”,it is a iPad/iPod/iPhone application to help you transfer and backup your files from iPad/iPod/iPhone/iTouch,including songs, videos, photos, playlists etc.(but you gotta pay for it)
