Apple order status…question?.. “prepared for shipment”?
I ordered an iPad 2. Originally (when I first ordered it around the very end of April) it said “not yet shipped” and “delivered by May 14″.
Then yesterday it changed to “not yet shipped”and “delivered by May 19″.
Today it changed to “prepared for shipment” but still “delivered by May 19″.
Can anyone who has ordered an Apple product online tell me how long after their order status was changed to “prepared for shipment” their product arrived? Will it still take until May 19?

The iPad 2 does not come with headphones. The iPhone 4 does come with headphones. The iPad 2 comes with a Dock Connector to USB Cable, and 10W USB Power Adapter.

I cancelled my apple online order today which was made 2 days ago (for the iPad 2). I was told my local comet had stock of the model I wanted but they’d sold out by the time I got there… Basically I want to know if it is possible to reinstate my iPad 2 order by calling apple.
I am sure you cannot reinstate an order placed on the Apple web site. You will have to create a new order, sorry.
I did a similar thing but did not cancel the order until I had the iPad in my hands.
Apple iPad on back order?
I ordered the apple iPad 16 gig directly from the apple web site on 6-25-10 and it says I won’t get it for another like 2-3 weeks (the apple case I bought will take even longer). Is it because so many people bought it and they are on back order or is it because they being shipped from so far away??
It is because a lot of people are buying them. I know that if you get a product that is not something that just came out then it comes relatively quickly. If you bought a Macbook Pro right now it would come in a couple days.
