IPad 2 in store pick up or online order?
I’m planning on getting the iPad the day it comes out but the thing is I am going to be out of town and won’t land until 4:30pm that night, march 11th and the iPad goes on sale at 5pm so I wouldn’t be able to get to the store until 7. From someone who has gotten a product like this in the day of the release will I be able to get to the store at 7 and still be able to get it that day? Or should I order online? I would prefer to pick it up at the store but which ever will get it to me the fastest works
I’ve had experience with this kind of thing with the iphone 4. I didn’t pre order it and because of that, I paid the consequences. I got the iphone 4 a month after it was released because after they brought iphone in on the first day, every shipment gets sold out within hours. 1 Month after iphone 4 came out, I still had to wait in line for a good 4 hours just to get one. Terribly boring and painful. And every shipment apple brings to the store containing ipad 2 will get raped on the first day, even for a few months (1 to 2 months). I highly recommend you pre order it if you want to gurantee yourself a copy of ipad 2, although I’m pretty sure ipad 2 isn’t going to sell as good as the original ipad because of the other competitors now in the tablet industry. The iPad 2 does not come with headphones. The iPhone 4 does come with headphones. The iPad 2 comes with a Dock Connector to USB Cable, and 10W USB Power Adapter.

iPad 2 online ordering-HELP!!?
I recently order an iPad 2 from apple and mistyped my email address under the shipping information, but got it right under the billing information.
1) will I get a confirmation email from apple despite this mistake?
2)what can you do with the order number? can the guy who may have received my confirmation email (due to me mistyping my own address) cancel it or put his address in? I did not use an apple ID and I know you have to log in to change that online, but can’t you call them and do this all by phone? If he did get the confirmation email, then he got my shipping address, billing address, and confirmation number. Isn’t that everything apple asks you for when changing an order by phone?
