I already have an iphone. Why should I buy an ipad 2?
It looks like the ipad 2 is built more for games.
I wanted to know if it had Microsoft word and if it had any speech recognition?
Is there any app that could read books to me? Im dyslexic and that would come in handy.

It’s simply a larger platform for media. It does not run MS anything. As far as I know there’s no speech recognition. It play audio books. Apple doesn’t make any screen protections. Other companies do. I use Zagg. You need a stand. A case or cover is a good idea. A speaker system like a jawbone jambox is nice.

Can you help me with picking an Ipad 2 case?
I bought an ipad 2 and although am making a sturdy protective case, I want to buy one that is really made for it. One thing I keep finding is leather case, I hate leather (its not the nonenvironmentalness of it, I just hate the look and feel) so I want a case that isnt made of leather. I don’t like the Apple Smart Cover that much because it doesnt protect the back and even those cases that are compatible with the Cover I just dont like. I would prefer a folio case so that I can close it and put it in my bag. I want to be able to access all ports and buttons including the camer so a sleeve is a no. I like colorful cases but I guess a black/white/brown etc. would be ok. So if you could compile a list of cases (prices/pictures prefered) or possible a website. If you have any personal experiences with these cases please tell me, ups downs, defects, disadvantages/ atvanges, etc. Thankyou
Also, does anyone know where to find good insurance for my ipad? I want accidental damage coverage like if I drop it or something and loss coverage like if I lose it or it gets stolen. Plus, does anyone know where to get a good, nonexpensive screen protector? I want it to be really scratch proof, (what’s the advantage of glare free? Is there really a glare on non glare free protectors?) I was also looking at the ZaggMate with bluetooth keyboard because I want a keyboard later down the line, but it doesnt cover the back, does anyone know a solution to this? Personal experience appreciated
